Compare the play styles

GameWhat matchesWhat differs
Bloodstained: Ritual of the NightSide-scrolling exploration, equipment and acquired abilitiesSeparate world; not Konami canon
Dead Cells + Return to CastlevaniaFast 2D combat, familiar weapons and castle settingRoguelite runs; the DLC needs the base game
Vampire Survivors + Ode to CastlevaniaSeries characters, weapons and musicSurvival runs, not a traditional platform adventure
Dead by Daylight is asymmetric multiplayer horror and Smash Ultimate is a platform fighter. They are crossover recommendations, not substitutes for an exploration game.

Bloodstained

For a Symphony-style alternative, Ritual of the Night is the closest structural match among these three: it emphasizes castle exploration and character growth. That is an editorial comparison, not a claim of identical movement, difficulty or lore. Read the Bloodstained comparison for its separate developer and world.
