Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania

Last updated . Sources are linked in the text.

Ode to Castlevania is licensed Vampire Survivors DLC, released on 31 October 2024. It combines Castlevania characters and music with survival runs, not traditional castle platforming.

Characters, weapons and music

The publisher highlights Belmonts including Simon, Richter and Trevor, alongside Sypha, Shanoa, Jonathan and Charlotte. Weapons include whips, spells, Alucard equipment and glyphs.
A large castle map, bosses, remixed music and original Castlevania tracks are part of the expansion. Character weapon selectors add choices beyond a single fixed starting weapon.

Purchase and play-style distinction

The DLC requires the Vampire Survivors base game. Buy matching platform editions, or inspect a bundle that explicitly includes both. It does not install the original Rondo, Symphony or GBA games.
Choose it for enemy-wave survival and unlock progression. For interconnected platform exploration, compare Advance or Bloodstained instead.
On Steam, compare the Vampire Survivors base game with the Ode expansion. The catalogue describes unlockable weapon selectors; buying the DLC does not mean every character or selector is unlocked immediately.
