Editorial policy

Last updated . Sources are linked in the text.

This is a source-based guide, not a claim of first-hand completion. Primary product pages take precedence for current availability. Corrections and uncertain claims are labeled instead of presented as verified playtest results.

What counts as a fact

Dates, prices, file sizes and platforms require a linked primary source: Konami or the relevant store. A successful HTTP response alone does not verify a claim. The review date is 16 October 2026; unavailable details are not filled with estimates.
Wikipedia and the Castlevania Wiki are labeled secondary references for historical chronology and character details. Their cited games and publisher material matter; a successful HTTP status alone does not establish a fact. They do not override a primary product page.

Status pages

Status pages distinguish confirmed announcements from rumors and explain what the linked official source supports. A search returning no result is not proof that an announcement does not exist. We do not invent release dates, story details, completion times or scores.
Scores from other guide sites are not copied. If I cite OpenCritic or Metacritic later, the sentence will name their page and the day I read it.

Corrections

Email contact@castlevania.pro with the URL and the source. I would rather delete a number than keep a number I cannot re-open.

Questions

Why do some guides omit boss patterns?

Because I have not confirmed them on a current build. Official names stay. Unchecked routes stay out.

Which date wins in a conflict?

The Konami portal or the store listing beats a one-off news sentence when they disagree. The conflict is described, not hidden.
