Nocturne is a Netflix animated series set during the French Revolution. Richter, Maria and Annette confront a vampire aristocracy; it is not the 1997 game Symphony of the Night.

Setting and game connections
Netflix places Richter's story in France in 1792, during the French Revolution. Rondo of Blood supplies familiar names including Richter and Maria, but the show gives Annette, Olrox and other characters its own histories. Game relationships should not be assumed to carry over unchanged.
Netflix's creator interview explains the 1792 setting and revolutionary history. For the game rather than the show, use Rondo of Blood or Symphony of the Night.
Season 1: 8 episodes
Season 2: 8 episodes
