Rondo of Blood on PC
Last updated . Sources are linked in the text.
There is no official native Windows or Steam release of Rondo of Blood in the official options checked on October 16, 2026. PC Engine is the original console's name, not a Windows system requirement. Advance Collection contains the different SNES game Dracula X.
Official releases that actually contain Rondo
| Release | Platform | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Castlevania Requiem | PS4 | Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night. |
| The Dracula X Chronicles | PSP | A remake plus unlockable original Rondo and Symphony. |
| Castlevania Advance Collection | Windows and consoles | SNES Dracula X, not Rondo of Blood. |
Sources: Konami's Requiem release announcement, Dracula X Chronicles history entry, and Advance Collection roster. Check your region's store for availability; an older release is not a promise of a current digital listing.
If you want the original game rather than a substitute
- Look for Requiem on the PlayStation Store when using supported PlayStation hardware. Check the listing names both Rondo and Symphony before purchase.
- On PSP, distinguish The Dracula X Chronicles remake from its unlockable original Rondo. Selecting the remake alone is not playing the original release.
- If Windows is your only platform, do not buy Advance expecting Rondo. Choose Dracula X only if you want that separate SNES interpretation.
The absence of an official native Windows port is not a claim that all emulation is illegal or technically impossible. This page does not supply ROM downloads, BIOS files, or instructions for bypassing copy protection.
Why search results say PC Engine
Rondo's original platform was PC Engine Super CD-ROM, also known as part of the TurboGrafx family. The word PC in that console name does not mean the game runs directly on a Windows computer.
The original-game platform entry identifies TurboGrafx-CD. Follow the Rondo game page for background and the PC catalog for official Castlevania games on Windows.
