Dead by Daylight: Castlevania
Last updated . Sources are linked in the text.
The Castlevania chapter adds a playable Killer and Survivor to Dead by Daylight. It is not merely a cosmetic pack, a standalone mode or a collection of original Castlevania games.
Playable characters
The chapter launched on 27 August 2024. Dracula is The Dark Lord, a Killer with Vampire, Wolf and Bat forms. Vampire emphasizes flame attacks, Wolf tracking and pursuit, and Bat movement. These are the announced design roles, not a current-patch balance chart.
Trevor Belmont is the Survivor. His announced perks are Eyes of Belmont, Exultation and Moment of Glory. Playing Trevor follows Dead by Daylight's survivor rules; it does not turn the match into a whip-combat Castlevania campaign.
Chapter versus cosmetics
The chapter and separately sold cosmetics are different purchases. The chapter page also identifies a Vampire Killer charm; a charm is not an equippable Survivor combat weapon. Check the regional store for exactly which characters and bonus item the selected package includes.
You need Dead by Daylight. This multiplayer horror crossover does not unlock Rondo, Symphony or any Konami collection.
Trevor perks: what they change
| Perk | Purpose in Survivor play |
|---|---|
| Eyes of Belmont | Killer-aura information tied to generator completion and aura reveal duration |
| Exultation | Item upgrading after a pallet stun, when applicable |
| Moment of Glory | Chest-related activation followed by a delayed recovery mechanic |
Behaviour's Trevor profile explains these perk roles. These summaries are not current-patch timings, a build recommendation or a guarantee of effectiveness.
